A $50,000 bond was set Tuesday for a woman accused of trying to bring drugs into a prison.

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Jordyn Smith, 19, with furnishing or possessing prohibited articles.

Deputy Prosecutor Brittaney Akel explained the allegation which was based on an affidavit from State Police Special Agent Scott Rosegrant.

Smith was told to come back to court Aug. 27.
