A $250,000 bond was set Friday for a Pine Bluff man currently on parole after two guns and ammunition were found in his residence.
Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Keundrea McLemore, 28, with being a felon in possession of a firearm and violation of the machine gun act.
Reading from an affidavit by Vice and Narcotics Detective Richard McCorvy, Deputy Prosecutor Joe West said on Wednesday afternoon, vice and narcotics detectives, officers from Arkansas Community Corrections and agents of the Tri-County Drug Task Force went to a residence on Parker Street to arrest McLemore, who is a parole absconder, and to conduct a search of the residence.
West said a second gun was found in the residence along with various documents including McLemore’s ADC identification and various drawings showing affiliation with Murder Gang found near the gun.
He said McLemore’s prior convictions include theft by receiving and being a felon in possession of a firearm. He was told to come back to court Aug. 23.
