Eugene, Oregon– “Ticket Punched”! Despite the big stage, the University of Arkansas Pine Bluff track and field star Caleb Snowden finished second in the U.S. Olympic Trials as one of only two jumpers to clear 2.27 meters at Hayward Field in Eugene, OR. The results are available here.

Snowden is the first track & field athlete in the program’s history to advance to the US Olympic Team Trial Finals. “It feels good competing against the best in the country in the Olympic Trial to represent the USA Team in Paris, said Snowden. “My training had been going well, and it’s an honor to be among the top 12 to compete in Sunday finals”.

Snowden made history earlier this year at the NCAA Indoor Championships by becoming the first student-athlete in the program’s history to be named an All-American since joining the NCAA.
