Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Selena Stevens, 26, with hindering apprehension or prosecution.

Reading from an affidavit by Detective Jason Boykin, Deputy Prosecutor Brittaney Akel said on Monday at 4:55 p.m., detectives went to a residence on Malcomb St. in an attempt to locate Henry Arnold, who was wanted for an incident that occurred Oct. 27, 2023 and had been on the run ever since.

Akel said Stevens was taken to the Detective Office to be interviewed.

Stevens said she would hire her own attorney and was told to come back to court Aug. 2.
