Sunday afternoon PB Fire and Emergency Services is battling a fire at 5th and Pine. Thursday night and again Friday PB Fire was called out to the same location multiple times and now on Sunday are at it again.
PB Fire Chief Shawn Howell told Deltaplex Sunday afternoon that the building at 219 W 5th in Pine Bluff is vacant and has been modified many times in the past. “The vacant building has been modified many times and has multiple ceilings and also having no windows has made this very challenging to see all the smoke” Howell said. He also told us there is way more smoke than fire. Dark smoke can be seen coming out the top of the structure. Chief Howell says that no injuries have occurred.
