John “Eastside” McAllister, featured in the controversial Netflix documentary “Unlocked” has died at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. He had been transferred to the Williams Correctional Center, where has was serving a three year sentence after being convicted on 10 felony counts related to drugs, theft and firearms possession. After being found unresponsive in his bunk on Sunday, he was transported by ambulance to JRMC. He was pronounced dead at 8:50 a.m. No foul play or suicide is suspected.
