The new Jefferson Regional Specialty Hospital at White Hall is now officially open after a ribbon cutting ceremony Thursday morning.
Representatives of Jefferson Regional including President and CEO Brian Thomas and Russ Bailey, President of Lifepoint Rehabilitation and Lifepoint Behavioral Health were on hand to speak to the crowd, as was White Hall Mayor Noel Foster.
Thomas had this to say after the ribbon cutting.
The 76-bed facility features 40 acute rehabilitation beds in all private rooms with rehabilitation tailored to the specific needs of patients.
The 36-beds for behavioral health issues for adults and senior citizens including substance use disorders.
Bailey was asked about the facility.
Also speaking was White Hall Mayor Noel Foster.
