Pine Bluff Police are reporting that multiple officers responded to Watson Chapel High School because of fights near the football field Tuesday but say that the school was not locked down.
Watson Chapel school officials and other law enforcement agencies told Deltaplex there was a lockdown but that it was lifted just before 1pm.
Lt. David DeFoor told Deltaplex News that the multiple officers were needed because as quickly as officers were able to break up one fight, another would start.
DeFoor went on to say that there were no weapons involved and the entire incident was over in about 10 minutes.
