Earlier this month, a big contingent from the city and Jefferson County attended an out-of-state event in Philadelphia and Sheriff Lafayette Woods Jr. was amongst those present.
Tuesday, Woods joined Oldies 101.3 morning show and host Greg Horne asked Woods to explain the purpose of them being there.
He went on to explain more.
Horne talked about some of those mothers coming to assist in Pine Bluff especially to speak with teenage boys that may be involved in violence in this community. Woods responded by saying this.
Horne asked Woods if this has had a positive impact on Philadephia and Woods said this.

Woods went on to say that the program has been around for five years in Philadephia and he mentioned some of their success stories.
