The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the tragic death of detainee Treveon McDaniel, who was found in his single-person cell at the W.C. “Dub” Brassell Adult Detention Center last week.
Sheriff Lafayette Woods Jr. joined the Oldies 1013 morning show Tuesday and he was asked about that incident.
Host Greg Horne mentioned how tragic this incident is and went on to ask about the standard procedures for the staff at DBDC.
Woods went on to say this.
Horne said that he didn’t know that McDaniel was getting bonded out at the same time as the incident, and Woods said this.
Woods said that the investigation is still underway. Deltaplex News will update the public on those details as they become available.
