A $10,000 bond was set Friday for a Pine Bluff man accused of hitting another man with a pair of pliers Thursday, causing injuries.

Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Dustin Stout, 19, with second-degree battery.

Reading from an affidavit by White Hall Police Investigator Ryan Edwards, Deputy Prosecutor Joe West explained the allegation against Stout.

Stout was ordered to have no contact with the victim and told to come back to court on June 16.
