A disagreement between the City of England and Emergency Ambulance Service Inc., (EASI) has been resolved and service to the city and surrounding area will continue.
Wednesday morning, John Bishop, the CEO of EASI told Deltaplex News that the issue was resolved following a meeting of the England City Council Tuesday.
Bishop said the current agreement with the City of England runs out at the end of 2012 and there is a clause in the contract that gives the city time to find funds for a subsidy so that the contract can be continued on a long-term basis.
Bishop also talked about the number of calls EASI responds to in that area and the length of time those calls take.
