A $5,000 bond was set Monday for a White Hall woman accused of stabbing another woman during a fight in the early morning hours Sunday.
Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Kamillya Laws, 23, with second-degree battery.
Reading from an affidavit by Pine Bluff Police Detective Ryan Edwards, Deputy Prosecutor Brittaney Akel said at 4:30 a.m., police were sent to Jefferson Regional Hospital in response to a reported stabbing.
Akel said police also took a statement from a witness who was at the hospital.
Laws was also treated at the hospital and was then taken into custody.
She was ordered to have no contact with the victim and told to come back to court April 14.
