A $50,000 bond was set Monday for a Pine Bluff man who threw the mother of his child off a second-floor balcony Friday.
Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Sherrod Walker, 30, with first-degree domestic battery.
During the court hearing, Deputy Prosecutor Keith Hall explained the allegation against Walker.
Hall said the victim was taken to a Little Rock hospital by helicopter for treatment of her injuries.
Walker was ordered to have no contact with victim and told to come back to court Aug. 12. He said he would hire his own attorney.
