An investigation is underway after a McGehee woman was shot and killed on December 17 in England.
According to a press release from the Lonoke County Sheriff’s Office the England Police Department was dispatched to a call regarding a gunshot victim at 11:50 p.m. on the 17th. Officers responded to an address on High Street where 19-yard-old Shaveon Sheets was located with at least one gunshot wound. Sheets was pronounced dead at the scene by the Lonoke County Coroner’s Office.
The Lonoke County Sheriff’s Office is conducting an investigation and are working to gather evidence and to determine the events leading up to the incident.
