A Pine Bluff teenager was arrested Friday after he was involved in an altercation with a neighbor that resulted in him cutting the neighbor with a knife.

During a court hearing Monday, Deputy Prosecutor Keith Hall explained the allegation against 19-year-old James McClain.

Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set a $15,000 bond for McClain after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge him with second-degree battery. He was ordered to have no contact with the victim and told to come back to court Aug. 12.
