$10k bond set for White Hall man accused of taking four-wheeler

A $10,000 cash only bond was set Monday for a White Hall man accused of taking a four-wheeler on July 31.

Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Jaxston Noah Woodard, 20, with theft of property.

Chief Deputy Prosecutor Jill Reed said a sheriff’s deputy was sent to 610 Highway 104 on July 30 where the owner of the four-wheeler reported that it had been stolen and he had not seen it since about 7 a.m.

The four-wheeler was valued at $3,000 and the owner gave the deputy information on the vehicle’s identification number.

Reed said Woodard has a pending charge of theft by receiving stemming from a previous arrest. He was told to come back to court Sept. 8.
